Special Board Meeting– January 24, 2010

CALL TO ORDER

The special board meeting was called to order by President Rick Wetzel at 5:30 p.m. with the following members present: Bill Blackburn, Rob Hunt, Archie Neil, Amy Nieman, and Mr. Wetzel. 

AGENDA

MOTION Blackburn, second Nieman, to approve the agenda as presented. MOTION CARRIED; Voting Aye – Blackburn, Hunt, Neil, Nieman, Wetzel.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

MOTION Neil, second Hunt, to adjourn to executive session at 5:31 p.m. for a personnel matter and negotiations C.R.S. §24-6-402(4)(f)&(e).  MOTION CARRIED; Voting Aye – Blackburn, Hunt, Neil, Nieman, Wetzel.

MOTION Nieman, second Neil, to come out of Executive Session at 6:27 p.m.

SUPERINTENDENT CANDIDATES APPROVED

MOTION Hunt, second Blackburn, to approve Jed Bowman and Christian Cutter as finalists for the board to interview on Monday, February 1st for the position of superintendent.  MOTION CARRIED; Voting Aye – Blackburn, Hunt, Neil, Nieman, Wetzel.

ADJOURN

MOTION Nieman, second Blackburn, to adjourn the meeting at 6:28 p.m.  MOTION CARRIED; Voting Aye – Blackburn, Hunt, Neil, Nieman, Wetzel.
