CALL TO ORDER

The work session was called to order by Vice President Rob Hunt at 5:24 p.m. with the following members present: Bill Blackburn, Archie Neil, Amy Nieman, and Mr. Hunt.

LEADERSHIP UPDATE & PLAN FOR OCTOBER 28^TH PRESENTATION

Assistant Superintendent Linda Murray distributed a sample/draft of the work put together by the Leadership Team. Mrs. Murray went through the form with the board so they would know how to understand the general format and order of the action plan for the October 28^th presentation to the board and DAC on Academic Achievement.

SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH REVIEW

The Board of Education discussed and reviewed the timeline and application packet contents.

BOARD PRESIDENT ARRIVES

Board President Rick Wetzel joins the work session at 7:10 p.m.

BOARD GOVERNANCE

The Board of Education reviewed GP-6, Board Committee Principles; and GP-4, Monitoring Board Performance.
