Board Work Session – August 12, 2009

CALL TO ORDER

The work session was called to order by the President Rick Wetzel at 7:00 a.m. with the following members present: Bill Blackburn, Amy Nieman, and Mr. Wetzel.  Also in attendance were Superintendent Guy Arseneau, members of the Teller County Commissioners and the Woodland Park City Council.

AGENDA

MOTION Blackburn, second Nieman, to approve the agenda. MOTION CARRIED; Voting Aye – Blackburn, Nieman, Wetzel.

TOUR OF BUILDING

Everyone in attendance took a tour of the Divide Public Works building.

DISCUSSION

The Board of Education discussed Demographic and Growth issues with the members of the Teller County Commissioners and Woodland Park City Council.

Also had a brief discussion of common issues.

MOTION Nieman, second Blackburn, to adjourn the work session at 8:30 a.m.  MOTION CARRIED; Voting Aye – Blackburn, Nieman, Wetzel.
